Plans or credits: how to pay the least
October 6, 2026 · 3 min read
Plans are priced by the month and metered by the word. Basic gives 30,000 words a month for 10 dollars, Pro 60,000 for 20 and Ultra 100,000 for 50, with longer texts, more versions and stronger rewrites as you go up. If you rewrite something most days, a plan costs a few cents per text.
Credits cost 1 dollar each and buy one rewrite with the top limits, whatever your plan: up to 3,000 words, any strength, up to three versions. Packs bring the price down to 90, 80 and 70 cents a run. A pack is valid for 30 days.
The two combine. Your plan is always used first; a credit is spent only when the plan does not cover a run, because you are out of words for the month, the text is longer than your plan allows, or you asked for a strength or a number of versions your plan does not include. The editor tells you before you click.
So: a student with two or three long essays a month is better off with a few credits. Someone who writes every day for work wants Pro. Someone who does both takes Basic and keeps five credits for the big days. Yearly billing takes a third off every plan, and you can cancel from your account at any time.
